Latest ‘Star Wars’ trailer to air tonight during ESPN’s “MNF”

On a football field, far, far away, excitement builds for the 3rd movie trailer for this December’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.  The seventh installment from the “Star Wars” franchise is set to debut tonight during ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” telecast.

Movie tickets for the December 18th release will be available immediately after the trailer airs.  When the first trailer went viral last November, it accumulated over 40 million YouTube views within 72 hours.  The second sneak peek, with original cast members Harrison Ford as Hans Solo and his copilot Chewbacca, hit the Internet earlier this year and recorded over 200 million views in one month.

To help pass time before tonight’s NFL action a quick snippet…

And here’s Harrison Ford back in July of 1977, as it becomes apparent to everyone in our galaxy that the original movie is going to be very special.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is the first Star Wars chapter since 2005’s “Revenge of the Sith”.
