MOVIE REVIEW: ‘Enough Said’

My initial reaction to Seinfeld’s Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) finding romance with Tony Soprano (the late James Gandolfini) was “fugedaboudit”.  However, in this comedy it’s believable and works.  From an awkward first date, to the challenges of parenting a teen, this movie encapsulates one’s understanding and acceptance of other’s blemishes all framed within middle-aged dating.

Although somewhat slow in parts, it never rushes the relationship nor skips the unpleasantness found in this courtship; both of which provide a more earnest and well-acted film. A good ‘Date Night’ movie that whispers success with several laugh out loud moments. And for that, you won’t forget about it.
